Gramma's Birdhouses
|
|
Our Gramma loves - she has them on fence posts,
hanging all over the front porch, hiding in plants, she has them everywhere! And
now we are hanging out the birdhouses too. See
how many you can find. Click
on one, any one, and see where it takes you..........
you'll find lots of kids games, stories, coloring books, and so much more. Have
fun!

We hope no one
is confused about us switching from Fall in New Zealand
back to Spring.... but for those of you who don't know - WE'RE GOING BACK TO ALASKA!!!
Isn't that exciting???? We really love New Zealand, but Alaska has always been
our home and we are ready to go back to the "last frontier" and settle in. We
can't wait to see our playhouse again. In the meantime, see what we've
been up to....

Notes from Stasha
in May 1998: I
was in a race with 33 other 5 year old girls and came in 18th
place. I am so proud of myself because I ran 1/2 mile without stopping. It was
lots of fun and we all had a great time together. Right now I am in a read-a-thon
to raise funds for our school. I love to read
so this should be a piece of cake.
I will miss New Zealand and all of the wonderful things that it has to offer -
playing outside all year long, my friend Jaydin, the best schools, fresh fruits
in the backyard, and beautiful beaches. But Gramma & Grampa live right across
the road from one of the most beautiful beaches in Ketchikan, "Rotary Beach",
and Grampa loves to take us there to play. I can't wait!!!! |
Notes
from Aubrey in May 1998: Hello....
I'm helping Mummy pack because I am so happy to be going back to Alaska. My Daddy
is there right now. He left at the end of April so that he could get everything
ready for us. I miss my Daddy very much and can't wait to see him. He is keeping
my Elmo
safe until I get there. In case you didn't know, I'm a "Daddy's
Girl" and proud of it! I
will miss New Zealand, too, especially my teachers Miss Liz, Miss Rose, and Miss
Lea. I will really miss the beach because that is one
of my favorite places to go, and playing outside all the time, and all of my friends.
I want my Grandma Judy & Grandpa Shirwin to visit usso I can show them our playhouse
that we helped Grampa build. |
We hope you enjoyed
your visit..... We look forward to June and will update you on all of our travels
from New Zealand to
Alaska. Hey,
did you click on all of the birdhouses? Are you sure? Did you have fun? Thank
you for visiting us..... and congratulations to Gramma for winning the Striving
for Excellence Award for our April newsletter. And
to Mum for winning the Enchanted Forest Award of Excellence for our Moon Faery Meadow site. They just
love us so much... |
